Bon jour Renzo,
I got the link to this topic and read it very 'carefully' (with bablefish).

Your modifications of the Visa engine are very similar to my plans.

Thanks for sharing your experience!
@oil temperature:
Have you replaced the mechanical fan with an electric fan - or have I misunderstood that?
I plan to do this --> I need one or more oil coolers (+ small electric fans) to cool down the oil temperature.
I'd like to feed the cylinderhead caps in the same way as you. But I'm afraid to overload the space inside of the caps so that the valves and rods will generate bubbles and friction of too much oil would cost energy.
Also I'm afraid that the increased oil level will cause increased oil consumption (through the valves).
But I have to feed oil as much as possible to keep the heads cool - because air cooling should be minimzed (electrical fan for 'emergency'/rescue cases).
@compression rate:
The base of my engine is a V06/630 with OEM cam shaft.
Recently I got a pair of 9.5:1 pistons.
I have the chance to machine the cylinder walls down to increase C/R up to ~11.0:1 (Ethanol E85 use).
I like your DIY piston machine tool very much, but I have to avoid such a modification. --> Will I get into troubles touching head and/or valves when I decrease height of the cylinders of 1.0mm (at the top, because they're used)?
Thank you very much!
Best regards from Autriche
